Every parent wants beautiful pictures of their baby. But having a new baby is so overwhelming that sometimes newborn session is the last thing on your mind. And the opportunity is missed. When is the next good age to have the photos taken? It could be the 6-10 months window - a huge milestone - your baby can sit on their own!
1) Your baby is sitting
After the precious newborn stage this is the best age to get variety of poses, expressions and interactions. This session is meant to capture your baby at a time when they are reaching important milestones like sitting, laughing, rolling, playing with toys, crawling and much much more!
2)You baby is not running away
Not walking yet, they greatly interact with props, toys and the photographer. They are still easy to entertain and get those amazing smiles and genuine face expressions every parent dreams about. Their personalities are starting to shine through.
3) Your baby will not feel it
If you have managed to do a newborn session for your little one, you know how long and exhausting they can be. This session is so quick and effortless, you would't feel you actually had it. It lasts 30-45 minutes with outfits and prop changes.
4)Your baby still likes strangers
This is about to change for most babies - pretty soon they are not going to like unfamiliar faces and develop separation anxiety from their mothers. Well, this time has not come yet! Your baby doesn't need additional time to adjust to a new face and can interact with the photographer almost as well as with you.
5) Your baby is at the cutest stage
Just admit it - this is the cutest age - chubby cheeks, rolls and big smiles. Once your baby starts walking, most of this chubby baby cuteness is going to disappear. You might want to capture this!
